Camps
Victory Lane’s camp experiences are S’MORE than just fishing and campfires. Camp serves as a starting point for building and growing relationships. Victory Lane offers several camps each year. Our camps are designed for families of all abilities. The whole family takes part in training, therapy within community, and of course… FUN!
What happens at camp?
Learning – All families receive training to help foster understanding and community. Families with children who have special needs (Victory Families) receive additional training related to the challenges of raising a child with special needs. Backyard Mission Trip families participate in hands-on disability awareness training.
“We felt like everyone was there to support us and help us understand how to help our child. We really needed that… we were still learning how to manage life having a child with special needs.” - Hamilton Family, Victory Family
Living – Community-centered activities double as therapy opportunities, helping children with special needs build strength and confidence. Therapists are present during all activities, transforming every activity into a therapeutic life experience.
“It is such a fun setting that leads to progress and participation. The environment plays a huge role in motivation.” - Dusti D., Occupational Therapist
Laughing – Daily special events provide anticipation and excitement. Nightly campfires with skits and fun songs are a highlight for all ages.
“It was a positive experience for the kids and we had family time together. It was an awesome opportunity.” - Ingalls Family, Backyard Mission Trip Family
