For Cyndi and Kai Johnson, the thought of raising a child with Down syndrome seemed overwhelming. “We don’t get joyful welcome committees,” Cyndi shared. “We get people looking at us wondering ‘what are you doing here?’” That changed when they became part of Victory Lane Camp. “When we pulled in, 50 people in orange shirts were just cheering and clapping. It was incredible. I had forgotten what it was like to have people happy to see us.” You can share in victories like this happening through Victory Lane Camp. Victory Lane takes families of children with medical needs and families of children without medical needs and teaches them to grow together.
